Anne Marie Waters’s Beyond Terror is discussed at Middle East Forum fundraiser in Chicago. SOOP founder Wade Fransson attended a Middle East Forum (MEF) fundraising luncheon in Chicago. MEF’s President, Daniel Pipes, who contributed the Foreword to Anne Marie Waters’s book, Beyond Terror, asked to have Wade introduce the book and discuss its relevance. …
Ever since Anne Marie Waters founded the For Britain Movement political party in late 2017 and more particularly since the recent Lewisham East by-election, more and more online voices can be heard asking if Anne Marie and For Britain are simply splitting the nationalist democratic vote. At a superficial glance it sounds like a reasonable question but of course the question also perhaps implies that they share a common aim or similar values. Are Anne Maire Waters and Gerrard Batten two sides of the same political coin ?
At a FLA march in Birmingham in july 2018 Anne Marie stated ” I have heard it all through the years….you will offend the moderates with your language……you will offend moderate muslims with your language……I don’t care if they are offended because I’m offended by female genital mutilation , I’m offended by child marriage and forced marriage and honour violence and all the other horrors that this religion is bringing to our society. I will say so and I don’t give a damn who is offended. If you join with me I will never back down “. At the same march Anne Marie stated ” For Britain was formed with one primary purpose in mind and that primary purpose is to tell the truth”.
There is no need to ask what Anne Marie Waters really stands for. It is as clear and as transparent as anything can be. We don’t have to read between the lines. We know exactly what we are voting for. But what about Gerard Batten ? Is it clear exactly what this man and his political party stand for ?.
In an interview with Tommy Robinson shown on Youtube Robinson , referring to Susan Evans , asked Batten if it was time to drain the UKIP swamp. He reminded Batten that Evans had spread the slander that he Robinson and Anne Marie Waters were racist bigots. Battens response was that different people had different opinions and more or less that was fine. In the same interview Batten repeats the same slander when the EDL are mentioned. Batten condemns the EDL and the good people they represents with the same contempt as any Labour Party apologist for Islam might display. And Gerard Batten understands that calling people racist can have fatal consequences. He understands better than most as the same charges and accusations have been made against him. But the real question here is what does Batten and UKIP stand for. Whatever it is it is very different to what Anne Marie is saying.
Anne Marie Waters new book , Beyond Terror , has just gone on sale in the last week. The book is available on Amazon but none of the major book shops or indeed any book shop seems to intend stocking it. Anne Marie and the For Britain Movement seem to have just accepted this which I believe is a great mistake. If you intend buying it then go to your local bookshop first. If they refuse to order it for you explain to them that you will not give them your custom in the future and that you will advise your family and friends to do likewise. If they do refuse please let me know and I can create a data base of such book shops. Most book shops in the UK and Ireland are more than happy to stock or order Mein Kampf or the Communist Manifesto after all. There is no ban on this book so there is nothing to stop any shop ordering it for you. And there is no law against organising a boycott or campaign to encourage people not to support a shop which refuses to serve you in this matter.
If you let people walk over you then they probably will. And if your local book shop is not up to date in regard to fire or safety standards ( and you would be surprised at the number of shops who are really carless in such matters ) then it is your duty to report them. If any book shop feel they need to protect their customers against For Britain then you can act with equal concern for your community by making sure that they in turn comply with ALL the appropriate regulations that might apply to their business. The reason many shops will not stock Anne Marie’s book is they are afraid of the consequences. Think about that. Presumably they feel that the For Britain Movement political party is not going to make a fuss and maybe they are right.
You will find a good review of the book the Oyia Brown blog.
