Only a fool would cheer the banning of Tommy Robinson by Facebook and Instagram. It doesn’t matter if you like or loathe him. It doesn’t matter if you think he’s a searing critic of the divisive logic in the politics of diversity or Luton’s very own Oswald Mosley in Jack Wills clobber. The point is that his expulsion from social media confirms that corporate censorship is out of control. It speaks to a new kind of tyranny: the tyranny of unaccountable capitalist oligarchs in Silicon Valley getting to decide who is allowed to speak in the new public square that is the internet.

Roosky is a very small town in Ireland which , like many other small towns in Ireland has had it’s local hotel turned into an asylum centre for ‘refugees’. In Roosky the hotel /asylum centre has been the subject of two arson attacks by persons unknown which has not gone unnoticed by Irish ‘anti racists’. Grand Torino , an Irish Alt Media Youtube channel went down to Roosky to film these fine people in action ……….
“Day by day the continent of Europe is not only changing but is losing any possibility of a soft landing in response to such change. An entire political class have failed to appreciate that many of us who live in Europe love the Europe that was ours…….if they do change it many of us will regret this quietly. Others will regret it less quietly.”
I have just finished reading Douglas Murray’s , “Strange Death of Europe” , and the above paragraph , which comes at the very end of the book , sums up what for me is the problem with this book. Murray does not care , or at least does not care enough. He will , in his own words , “regret it quietly” and presumably just forget the victims and the damage done , not just to the victims of the last few years but all those victims to come. Murray’s language throughout the book is civil and temperate with one glaring exception when he uses the word ‘ rancid ‘ in reference to the ‘far right’ or at least certain sections of the ‘far right’. ” It is also true that these parties ( Pegida/EDL) include people with rancid political views. But so too , it must be noted , do mainstream parties of the political left and right “. While this statement may seem quite reasonable it is significant that he makes it when speaking of Pegida and the EDL and not on any of the numerous occasions he quotes Angela Merkel and a host of other people and groups. He does not refer to any of the mainstream characters that litter his book as ‘criminal’ in spite of the ample evident that he supplies in his book that that is exactly what they are.
This is an interesting and very readable book and it will , I’m sure , ‘red pill’ some people but I fear that in the long run it may do more harm than good – like all those slick YouTube videos that entertain us far more that educate us and always avoid stating the very things that really do need to be put into words…..Things , sometimes NEED to be said for them to become real in the minds of people. Sometimes it really is necessary to call a spade a spade and tell people in plain english things which they may not wish to hear or contemplate. I suppose you could say that this is a very entertaining book – but that is the last thing we need just now. We are being entertained to death via YouTube and books like this , perhaps literally, while in the real world everything is going to hell at an ever faster pace. We need men and women of action in these times and not books and perhaps if we find such men and women of action we may live to write great books in the future…..We need the ugly brutal truth told in all its ugliness. We need it rammed down our throats. The time for civility and reason is over.

Anne Marie Waters, has been banned for the second time from speaking at Warwick University. She was originally supposed to give a talk to the Warwick University PPE Society in October of 2018 but this was cancelled due to pressure from Warwick Labour, Pride, Anti-Sexism Society, Anti-Racism Society, Student-Staff Solidarity , Socialist Worker and others. Technically , her talk was rescheduled for January 9th 2019 but subsequently when in fact she was invited back it was cancelled yet again. In response to this Anne Marie posted her lecture on YouTube where , at the time of writing ( one day after it was posted ) it has already attracted over 10,000 views. Ironically , her lecture / speech was on the subject of free speech. The full talk can be seen here on the For Britain Youtube Channel.
In 2018, the main issues that dominated local politics in Hartlepool were the crime rate, council tax, and the leadership of the local Labour party. These issues are not likely to go away in 2019, but Hartlepool will face a new challenge in the New Year, and that is immigration.
For many years immigration has had a major impact on large towns and cities across the UK. According to The Migration Observatory: ‘Between 2004 – 2017 the foreign born population in the UK more than doubled from 5.3 million to around 9.4 million’. A consequence of this is that places like London, Birmingham, Bradford and Slough have seen segregation and ‘white flight’, while local British people often feel like strangers in a Britain that is no longer theirs.
Hartlepool has largely escaped mass immigration in recent years, but that is now changing. Some people and organisations downplay or welcome the changes that migration will bring to Hartlepool, but for others, this is why they voted to leave the EU in the 2016 referendum. That makes little difference however, as police, education, and media continue to celebrate ‘diversity’ and select headlines that present the false notion that immigration is not a growing concern.
