FOR BRITAIN MAKES BREAKTHROUGH IN LOCAL ELECTIONS

For Britain are up and running, with some fantastic results in the 2019 Local Elections including seat wins! Last year the party had just been formed, missing out on postal votes, but still managed some credible results for a brand new party, beating the Greens, UKIP and the LibDems in some wards.

But in 2019 we have gone further, winning seats which is extremely pleasing. This campaign has taught us a lot, when you take to the streets and talk to people, our message is extremely well received. 99% of the public agree with the common sense views we hold. It is incredible for a brand new party to beat Labour in the Northeast; congratulations to new Councillor Karen King, and in beating the Tories in Epping Forest; congratulations to new Councillor Julian Leppert.

Digging deeper, For Britain has consistently managed to finish ahead of other major parties, we managed to beat the LibDems and Greens in many seats, and both the Tories and Labour in others. This is something extremely positive to build on, and the party will now learn from the success to replicate the models that work across the country. These wins are the acorns from which future success will grow.

THE MINISTRY OF LOVE : ANNE MARIE WATERS

Welcome to the Ministry of Love. The Ministry of Love is so loving that it has made it its mission to protect us from “harmful” online content. It is a mere coincidence (a striking one) that the “harmful” content it has in mind, also happens to be “harmful” to the government; specifically its globalist aims to dissolve Western countries (and only Western countries) in to an open border utopia. Anyone nursing the illusion that the UK is a free country is about to be sorely disappointed. The government has announced that it is to introduce “world first online safety laws”. [1] It has framed this as an attempt to protect children from online grooming, which few would object to, but if you believe this is what it will really be used for, you’re not paying attention to the political oppression that is taking place in Britain 2019.

Globalism and open borders are not to be opposed. If you do not go along with the notion that European and other Western states should be more “diverse”, that white people are racists and colonialists who deserve everything that’s coming to them, and that Islam is a religion of peace, you are filled with “harmful content”. The state will prevent you from propagating that harmful content by cutting off your right to free expression, and with it, your right to oppose government policy. We have therefore entered the post-democracy age. – Full AltNews Media article can be found here.

THE DIVERSIFICATION OF HARTLEPOOL

In 2018, the main issues that dominated local politics in Hartlepool were the crime rate, council tax, and the leadership of the local Labour party. These issues are not likely to go away in 2019, but Hartlepool will face a new challenge in the New Year, and that is immigration.
For many years immigration has had a major impact on large towns and cities across the UK. According to The Migration Observatory: ‘Between 2004 – 2017 the foreign born population in the UK more than doubled from 5.3 million to around 9.4 million’. A consequence of this is that places like London, Birmingham, Bradford and Slough have seen segregation and ‘white flight’, while local British people often feel like strangers in a Britain that is no longer theirs.
Hartlepool has largely escaped mass immigration in recent years, but that is now changing. Some people and organisations downplay or welcome the changes that migration will bring to Hartlepool, but for others, this is why they voted to leave the EU in the 2016 referendum. That makes little difference however, as police, education, and media continue to celebrate ‘diversity’ and select headlines that present the false notion that immigration is not a growing concern.

GERARD BATTEN : THE MIDAS TOUCH

Everything Gerard Batten touches turns to gold. He simply cannot fail – When he took over the leadership of UKIP the party was in a state of implosion with the obituary writers just sharpening their pens to record the final collapse. It was all over , done and dusted , finished or so it seemed , but Batten had different ideas and he was hardly in the door before he had halted the exodus from the party and begun , over the space of a few short months , to put the finances of the party back in the red. Batten looked and sounded like a leader , someone who knew what he wanted and knew how to get it. He was comfortable in front of the TV cameras and projected the image of a strong man who knew his own mind – He was impressive , no question about that.

Nothing quite succeeds like success and soon major YouTubers with huge followings were flocking to his side while an army of disgruntled ex UKIPers were returning to the fold in ever larger numbers. Even his worst enemies would have to admit that he was doing everything right when, just at the right moment Tommy Robinson found himself in jail for contempt of court putting in motion chain of events which potentially could bring millions of new member into the ranks of UKIP.  God it seems , was on Gerard Battens side , there could be no other explanation . Batten was getting more TV coverage than Nigel Farage and looked ever more the national figure with each passing minute and it has to be admitted that he played his hand well , very well , in all of this and did not miss a single trick.

None of this bodes well for For Britain , at least in the short to medium term. When Anne Marie Waters founded For Britain she might reasonably have expected to pick up many ex UKIP votes and members , and with a UKIP that was becoming less relevant by the second her party could have hoped to attract the dissident ‘ right’ vote in any future election at national or local level , but now even the most committed For Britain member must be wondering if For Britain has any future at all.  Certainly this has knocked For Britain back – this was not exactly part of the plan and Batten is no Henry Bolton…….this is not going to be the walk over that some For Britain members might have thought it was going to be.

There can be little doubt that if an election is called in the near future UKIP will probable do well , how well is anyone guess , but all the polls look promising from UKIP’s point of view and if these predictions come true it could be embarrassing for For Britain is they fail to attract at least a respectable vote in the relatively few seats they have the manpower or funds to contest , and while no one in For Britain with any intelligence believed it would be easy few expected it might get this hard. This was definitely not part of the plan. The harsh reality is that most British people have never heard of the For Britain Movement or Anne Marie Waters and if the mainstream media have their way it will stay like that.

Of course , even if there is an election and UKIP do well , there are still a lot of quite powerful people in UKIP who hate Batten’s guts and would love to get rid of him at almost any cost and if an internal war were to erupt it might just tear UKIP apart. Batten has a somewhat arrogant manner , there is a bit of the upstart about him , a swagger that has only come to the fore in very recent times and he is rubbing all the right people up the wrong way and while it is undoubtedly true that nothing succeeds like success the opposite is equally true and pride , arrogance and over confidence can lead to a terrible and ignoble fall. Cynics might argue that Batten was a relatively quiet and inactive voice in UKIP untill Anne Marie Waters decided to set up her own party and that his interest in Tommy Robinson developed in tandem with Robinson’s breakthrough rise to prominence and international fame since his stint in prison and even those who don’t have a cynical bone in their bodies might come to the same conclusion.
